Excluded, But Not Erased: My Journey from Rejection to Radiance
By: Blooming Amore by Anabeth Lopez
They Left Me Out… But God Didn’t
There’s a kind of pain that words can’t fully express.
It’s not just heartbreak, it’s the ache of being excluded.
The sting of being overlooked.
The silence of being uninvited when you know you have a voice.
The betrayal of being treated like you’re not enough, just because your qualifications don’t fit their mold.
This has been my story.
I was always the woman who gave her all, with heart, purpose, and passion. I showed up with integrity, commitment, and a desire to serve. But no matter how much I gave, I was always the one left out.
They would plan events, seminars, and speaking engagements, and I would only find out after.
They would invite others, sometimes even those with less experience or less heart, but not me.
They would make decisions in rooms I wasn’t invited to enter.
They made me feel weak, small, and unqualified, not because of my lack of calling, but because my education didn’t align with their expectations.
The Pain of Being Overlooked
I would be lying if I said it didn’t hurt.
I cried silently, prayed desperately, and questioned everything.
“Lord, why them and not me?”
“What am I doing wrong?”
“Why do I always feel like an outsider?”
I started doubting myself.
I began to believe that maybe I wasn’t good enough.
That maybe I was too soft, too different, too ordinary for a platform.
And yet, God whispered something different.
God’s Calling Is Not Determined by People’s Invitations
God reminded me:
“My daughter, I have not called you based on what degree you hold—but based on the fire I placed in your heart.”
Yes, I may not have the “traditional” education that others expect.
Yes, my path may not be aligned with theirs.
Yes, I may not be in their cliques, circles, or networks.
But what I have, is real.
A real story.
A real calling.
A real passion to serve, teach, and help others rise from brokenness.
A real heart that speaks truth, because I’ve lived through it.
Rejection Was My Refining
What they didn’t realize is this:
In excluding me, they were redirecting me.
They were pushing me closer to my authentic mission.
They were forcing me to build my own platform, my own stage, Blooming Amore.
They were unknowingly preparing me to reach those who feel the same pain I once felt.
And maybe that’s you, too.
To The Woman Who Feels Left Out… This Is For You
If you’ve ever been:
- Uninvited
- Ignored
- Compared
- Overlooked
- Mocked for your background or education
Know this:
You are not invisible.
You are not less.
And you are not defined by the doors that others closed.
God has a stage for you that no one else can steal.
God is preparing a table where you will be both guest and host.
God is writing a story that only your pain could birth.
Biblical Reminder: David Wasn’t Invited Either
Let’s not forget:
David wasn’t invited when Samuel came to anoint the next king.
He was out in the field—forgotten, ignored, overlooked.
But God didn’t forget him.
He said:
“Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
1 Samuel 16:7
In the same way, God sees your heart, not your résumé.
He sees your potential, not your exclusion.
He sees your tears, and is bottling every one of them.
Lessons I Learned in the Shadows
- Rejection is a redirection.
When people don’t recognize your value, create your own space where God can shine through you. - It’s okay to not be included—just don’t exclude yourself.
Don’t let their silence become your surrender. - God builds His best warriors in obscurity.
Just because you’re not in the spotlight doesn’t mean you’re not being shaped for greatness. - Your education may not be traditional—but your anointing is real.
Don’t let paper define your power.
A Prayer for the Uninvited
Lord, I lift up every woman who feels unseen, unheard, and unloved.
You see her. You chose her. You are calling her to bloom even in the shadows.
Remind her that her worth is not in positions, stages, or invitations—but in being Yours.
Heal the wounds of betrayal.
Redirect her steps toward her divine assignment.
And let her rise with power, passion, and purpose.
Amen.
🌷 From the Back Row to the Frontline
Today, I no longer chase approval.
I am no longer begging for a seat at someone else’s table.
I am building, for women like you.
Women who have been betrayed but still believe.
Women who feel excluded but are still expanding.
Women who feel uninvited, but are about to birth something unstoppable.
This is why Blooming Amore exists.
Because I didn’t bloom from praise.
I bloomed from pain, process, and purpose.
You Can Turn Rejection Into Radiance
Now I speak to you—not as someone who has it all figured out—but as someone who has cried, doubted, questioned, and risen.
Let their betrayal birth your boundaries.
Let their rejection revive your vision.
Let your difference become your distinction.
Let your silence become your strength.
You are not “out of their league”—you’re simply playing on God’s field now.

Final Words: Keep Blooming Anyway
They didn’t invite you?
Good.
God is calling you to start something they can’t control.
You may have been left out, but you are not erased.
Bloom anyway, beloved.
Bloom even when it hurts.
Bloom louder than their silence.
Because your voice, your story, is needed more than ever.
And this time, you’re not asking to be included.
You’re leading your own movement.
