REWIND MOVIE by DongYan
Filmed by Mae Cruz-Alviar

This is about being part of a family and making choices. You can either support your family, focus on yourself, or prioritize your job, all while maintaining a balance. All in all, this teaches about part of the family is concerning about selfishness or wanting things just for yourselves, forgiving others, the importance of the presence of family, deciding what’s most important, helping each other, being humble and kind, forgiving others, changing the world you live in, and of course, the value of life that can’t be undone.
Most of the time, the father works hard to provide for his family, sometimes sacrificing his health and missing important events. The father often prioritized to excel in his career rather than in personal and family relationships.
A home is where family members should listen to and support each other, not a place for constant arguing, holding grudges, and pursuing selfish goals.
Life is short. How can you make yourself and your family happy? Is it by having expensive things?
People who live a simple life seems to be happier than those who are not content or grateful for what they have.
But we can’t judge them because that’s how the world works. You get promoted if you dedicate more time to your job. But what if you don’t get promoted? How will you feel? What will your family say? Will you get angry? Will you question people around you, especially your boss?

Marian Rivera, named as Mary the talented, supportive and loyal wife of John. Dingdong Dantes as John is an industrious man, always give time for work while less time for family, listens to his boss but don’t have time to listen and connect with family, even important events is not valued.
Because his aiming for his promotion, he stayed much on work, is not balance between personal and career life, that even praying to God is being forgotten, not contented and thankful of what he has. He is mostly hot-tempered.
Hannah, the personal assistant of John and Mary, being the reporter of any activities in work and family events.
Jesus, or in the movie, Austin, son of John first called Jesus as his Lodz. Lodz is always ready to understand situation. Always prepared to lend a hand in a situation you are helpless. Always giving a chance for you to have new life.

What should you do if you don’t get what you want in your life, like a promotion?
How do you forgive your father that has hurt you unintentionally?
What will you do if you have anger management, and you lack self-control?
What if your life was gone, can you put it back?
These are my take aways.
First, family holds greater importance than a job. Employment opportunities can always be found, and developing strong interpersonal skills can help in securing alternative employment. Jobs will always be there, but the individuals who have supported us are irreplaceable.

Second, forgiving others isn’t always easy. It is a process and a difficult journey. Sometimes, we may feel the need to ask God for forgiveness first, knowing that we all make mistakes. It’s important to talk to God every day, because before we ask for forgiveness, we should forgive others as well, just as God forgives us when we forgive others.

Third, why do we worry, feel anxious, and not feel content? We are encouraged to pray for what we need, and to remember that life is about more than just having things. Birds don’t worry about what they will eat each day, so we are told not to worry about unnecessary things because, like birds, they are provided for by God.

Fourth, if you struggle to control your emotions, especially your anger, it may impact your chances of promotion, how others see you, and how you treat others. Remember, the way you treat others reflects how you treat yourself. If you’re always upset with others, it may indicate a lack of self-compassion.

Lastly, have you acknowledged God in your life? If not, then why do you live? What could be the main reason why you live? We can glorify God through our lifestyle and how we relate to other people and manage ourselves. Just always remember Him in all that you have, what you do, and who you are. Because when you are kind to yourself, you are also being kind to others and that makes your mission to spread the love of God.

Its main message is that life is short, use it to make your family happy, give time to them, listen, connect, share with them, especially those special occasions.
But because of work, we sometimes choose what is most practical for the family. As women say, love can’t always be the priority. However, the way people connect and understand each other, and the way they communicate to solve problems together as partners, makes life easier and more enjoyable. When both of you are growing together, there’s no leaving each other behind.
But traditionally, we have the idea that men are the providers and women are supporters. However, based on my learnings from family management and life-coaching courses, as well as my personal experience, I believe that it’s important to manage your time well and be disciplined. Your priorities should be aligned with your faith, your goals should be in harmony, and most importantly, you should strive for balance in achieving your vision and mission in life.
For life is very valuable. We never know when our loved ones or even ourselves will pass away.
What legacy do you want to imprint in them when you are already gone?
Our promotions and earthly riches cannot go with our eternal soul when we die, so what’s the point? What choices do you need to adjust now? What priorities should you focus on? What lifestyle changes should you make?
Sometimes we will only realize what is important when its gone.
This life is tough with lots of fights and battles. But when you pray and connect with God, you become more than a conqueror because He has already won. Be grateful for His presence and keep being consistent, devoted, and faithful in your prayers, despite the tempting distractions.
Don’t be too selfish, it’s not all about you, don’t let your partner always be just a supportive person, but also don’t forget your partner, bring your partner with you, acknowledge your partner. Praise and thank them for they are always there even if you don’t ask them.
You are not to question God, we are for a mission too, everything we have comes from God, you have to be grateful of what you have, because we are given the life, the life that we don’t deserve.
This world is the result of sin. We face many troubles because of our sinful nature and the consequences of sin. After we die, we don’t deserve eternal life. Therefore, we have a choice to live in either hell or heaven while on earth. We can experience everyday as heavenly by staying humble and consistently communicating with Him. We shouldn’t only turn to Him when we have problems, but rather always thank Him for what He does in our lives.
So, because life is so valuable and short, while we have the opportunity to live, let’s change for the better – for ourselves and our family.
Hope that when you’re not here anymore, people will speak kindly of you. It’s said that people will remember the way you make them feel, so work on feeling good yourself so that you can spread your love, happiness, and joy to others.
Let’s fill our life with forgiveness, invest in more love, peace, and joy. The secret to having a beautiful life, even though it’s hard, it is possible just have constant communication with God, being grateful for what he has offered us, and most of all, always being present to God.
Perhaps in our next life, when judgment day comes, we can see our life reviews. God will see the things we did in secret and reward us for them.

I recommend watching this movie because it talks about focusing on what truly matters in life.
